Hurrah! I decided to write a scary story for Halloween this year, starring Sikode, hero2 in The Wellspring Dragons series.
Sikode is sent by His Majesty King Shiel to infiltrate the Javone palace and discover what the bloodmages have secreted away in the dungeon. Violence and horror elements (it is a Halloween-time-of-year short story, after all).
